Canine Good Citizen Test

Superstition Kennel Club is holding an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test May 13 at Pioneer Park from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  The test is open to all dogs (purebred or mixed breed) over 6 months of age.  Details of the test are available at the AKC website (www.akc.org).  There is a $5.00 testing fee, dogs must be on leash, and owners should bring a brush for
grooming.

The American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Program is a certification program that tests dogs in simulated everyday situations in a relaxed, noncompetitifve atmosphere.  The CGC Program rewards dogs
that have the training and demeanor to be reliable family members as well as good members of the community by demonstrating that they are trained to act mannerly in the home, in public places, and in the presence of other dogs.
